Eek! I love Jen Klee! I love Charlotte’s shorts (I discovered via Laurel)! And I LOVE Emily!! This was a post born in heaven! The hype worthy item I’m stealing is smiling at myself in the mirror when I walk away; count me in. Maureen Weldon smiles in all her outfit selfies and it makes me smile so that’s an adjacent habit I’m working on!

I love all of these. +1 to mom friends. My group I met when I was in the throes of it 4 weeks postpartum and have been with me at every turn. And your daughter has the best recs too. I don’t go to Starbucks but I downloaded the app since she loves it and will order her a treat before school sometimes.

same-same-same. The 'mommy and me' class I was so nervous to go was the source of some of my current day, ride-or-die friends. And I make my weird healthy coffee at home, but we run in for an iced caramel cold foam something-or-other most Wednesday mornings, for her.

Your daughter is going to far if she already knows walks by herself are worth the hype! Loved learning about Charlotte (and her pants rec is chefs kiss from a fellow short girl!) and Emily always always makes me laugh. Emily you owe us the Best Pens post!!

PS I, too, am obsessed with Blue Crush. I can hear the soundtrack in my mind just thinking about it.

Such a fun post with incredible hype girls.

Dying to find out where I can procure my own turtle lamp that projects tiny stars onto the ceiling. Inquiring minds must know, Emily!

ADORE this! And adore you, Emily and Charlotte! I’ll have to check out this magical pen Emily mentions?! Also - I’m a Ruti STAN and those pants are gold. I own them in 2 colors!!! Charlotte knows what’s up !!

Gosh, such a good nostalgic flashback to the days where our biggest inspiration was camp counselors 😭❤️!

I hope you love the jelly’s!!

And I think you should publish the pen draft…I would totally read it 😂I’m going to try the one you recommended. Have you tried Le Pen? I love it to romanticize my to-do lists. This is also a great everyday pen if you like a super fine tip! https://a.co/d/4MiYBVz

Angie!! I LOVE the jelly’s. So much more than I expected. Agree on LePens/romanticization. The worst part about them is that everyone steals them from me. 🤪

Love the mix of nostalgia and real talk here. That “treat yourself like a friend” advice really stuck with me.........such a simple way to change your whole day. Xo

Charlotte is so on the money with mom friends (the ultimate hype!) and ofc I’m obsessed with Emily’s list from top to bottom. Reading this made me EMOTIONAL because I never do this and I should: “but whenever I look in the mirror I smile at myself right before I walk away.” Also, gah! Your sweet daughter! I love a solo walk, too, and I just finished a bottle of EOS lotion in vanilla — it was delightful and yes I’ll be getting another. I love this series!

Reading Supreme Court decisions yourself first is fine, but unless you are a legal scholar, it's best to also read plenty of commentary from respected experts. It's very difficult for lay people to understand the implications of legal language, and what we think the language means or should has little bearing outside the legal interpretative community.

Yes, that's why I said "before" - and sadly, I think there's just as much garbage SCOTUS analysis out there as there is solid analysis. And as a "layperson" or legal outsider, I still trust myself over a lot of what's out there. Thanks for reading, I value your opinion.
