Was just in Ireland and Scotland over winter break. Definitely saw color and pattern in Dublin for what it’s worth! :) Don’t be afraid to express your own authentic style, whenever you go, as long as you respect and adhere to local modesty customs. (Morocco comes to mind, specifically.)
Where in Ireland are you headed? Are you exploring other parts of Europe or the UK while you’re there? The tenement museum, 14 Henrietta Street, is a can’t miss in Dublin.
This whole thing cheered me up (I’m fine.. just hitting that 8:30 pm wall with two cooped up littles) - thank you, this was a lovely way to spend my five minute “hiding in the bedroom” recharge sesh.
Oh man I remember those days and FWIW I still hide from my teenagers (bc they scare me 😳) I’m so glad this brought some cheer, that is such a sweet compliment ❤️💌
I do NOT need another rain coat but that Sezane one 😍😍 I loved this bc rain is the only “winter” we get down here in SoCal so finally a weather-related fashion post I can get behind!
Love your choice of raincoats - the Clyde looks amazing. Been loving raingear from Danefae as well. I've been to Ireland twice and it rained every day! As my sister drily noted: It's so green because it rains all the time!
Your description of the silver raincoat should be what that raincoat is called because I have seen it in person and I was both wildly attracted to it and yet frozen with how over the top it felt. AND I LOVE OVER THE TOP!!!
Why do your links feel like you are completely on the pulse, Jennifer?! I just want to crawl in your brain and live there for a while. I would guarantee it's a great place to be.
Love this Jennifer!! And how exciting to be heading to Ireland! I’m from Dublin but live in the UK. It is a fun place, and loads of great history. Hope you can get ‘beyond the Pale’ as well (outside of the city) and out west where it is wild and beautiful. I recently bought Merry People rain boots (mentioned in my post this morning) and I can’t rave about them enough! They’re available in the UK and the US, and are so comfy and warm. Enjoy your trip! x

Thank you!!! I will add that to my list. Just Ireland (for Spring Break- so just a wk)

Same. Rain = “winter” 🫠 I have somehow managed to lose not one but two raincoats this past year— so as soon as I sort out what color: 🛒 📦❤️✔️
Thank you!!! 💗

Thank you Sigrid! Would love to hear any 'Ireland' highlights if you want to share. <3
Ok wait that Sezane coat is so good.

My brain is 50% treats and 50% chaos. That silver poncho/raincoat situation is sooooo intriguing to me.
