Jennifer, your writing always feels like a cheerful breeze through my brain, especially as I tend to be a pessimistic person so I really notice it :)

I like the idea of only making fun resolutions! I haven’t made too many yet but I did complete one of my goals for 2024 which was to take my computer to a cafe and work there instead of at home…on Dec 30th, but better late than never. I plan to do that again in the New Year.

Thank you friend. That means a lot. I just yelled at everyone in my home- so- believe me I have pessimistic moments too! Working from a cafe is something I started this year, and it makes me SO HAPPY. Home and office will never be the same.

Reading this was a gorgeous way to kick of January and the new year. I’m thinking about tickets to Stagecoach…have you been??

Jennifer; I am 53% of the way through The Art of Fielding right now and I am highly invested. I cannot wait to finish and discuss with you.

The “Bloom Where Your Planted” resolution is important for me as someone is regularly compares myself and wants to be more like someone/thing else. Thanks for the reminder.

Iove that you’re reading it too! It was really a highlight after a yr of not-so-awesome books. I’ll be curious to hear what you think when you’re done. Comparison is such an easy thing to fall into and it’s sooooo unpleasant to feel the consequences — I have to work HARD to avoid it.
